The body of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is currently being flown from London to Nigeria. The plane is expected to land around midday today.

Buhari passed away on Sunday, July 13. His burial will take place today in Daura, his hometown in Katsina State. The funeral is set to begin around 2pm.

President Bola Tinubu will lead a group of top government officials to the funeral. Some presidents from other African countries are also expected to attend the ceremony to pay their last respects.
