Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz the Bhad Guy, recently shared insights into his close musical bond with singer Simi. Their collaboration on the 2016 EP “Chemistry” sparked dating rumors, but Falz clarified in a recent interview with Hip TV that their connection was purely musical.

Falz recalled first hearing Simi’s breakout song “Jamb Question” in 2013 or 2014 and immediately reaching out to her to collaborate on a remix. This collaboration led to a natural creative synergy between them, resulting in several successful musical projects together.

“From then onwards, every other track was so natural. She’s family, we really really clicked musically,” Falz expressed.

Despite the dating speculations, Simi married singer Adekunle Gold in January 2019, and they welcomed their first child in 2020, which confirmed their romantic relationship.

Recently, Falz featured on Simi’s album “Lost And Found,” notably on the track “Borrow Me Your Baby.”
