Real Madrid is planning to sign Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté on a free transfer when his contract ends next summer.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Konaté almost renewed his deal with Liverpool last year, but things have now changed.

If Liverpool decides to sell the 26-year-old French centre-back this summer, Real Madrid might move quickly to secure his signature.

In another transfer update, Manchester United have shown interest in Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso and have already contacted the French club.

As reported by L’Équipe, Manchester United wants to strengthen their midfield and sees Tolisso as a good option.

Tolisso is currently under contract with Lyon until the summer of 2027.

The 30-year-old joined Lyon in 2022 after leaving German club Bayern Munich.
