In a heart-wrenching event in Zamfara State, the peaceful village of Dan Isa fell victim to a brutal attack by bandits. The assailants not only took the lives of five villagers but also abducted 150 others, including women and children.
Among those abducted were Na’imah Bashar and her 6-month-old baby, Sudais Bashar, along with three other women: Safiya Isau, Inno Lawal Mai Roba, and Samira. Their terrifying ordeal included being forced onto motorbikes by the bandits. Na’imah bravely managed to escape by jumping off a moving bike, saving herself and her baby from captivity.
The aftermath of the attack has left Dan Isa village reeling. With severe food shortages and heightened security concerns, the community is struggling to recover. Local authorities and vigilante groups are working tirelessly to protect residents and provide support.
