Vice Chancellors of Nigerian universities have agreed to set 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for students seeking admission in the 2025/2026 academic session.
This agreement was reached through a voice vote led by the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Oloyede. The decision was made during the ongoing admission policy meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday, July 8.
During the meeting, it was also decided that the cut-off mark for polytechnics will be 100. Similarly, colleges of education and agriculture will also use 100 as their minimum entry point for admissions.
