Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has chosen Abdulwahab Mohammed to be his new Senior Special Assistant in charge of Communication.

This news was shared on Friday in a statement by Mukhtar Gidado, the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

The statement said that Abdulwahab is a skilled journalist who once worked with the Hausa section of the Voice of America (VOA).

According to the statement, the governor made this appointment to improve how the government shares information and communicates with the people of the state.

It also said that Abdulwahab’s role will be to promote the government’s programmes, raise public understanding, and help in supporting transparency and good leadership.

The statement confirmed that Abdulwahab’s appointment begins immediately.
