Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen rejects permanent deal from Galatasaray after impressive loan

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has decided not to join Galatasaray permanently. The Turkish club was ready to pay his €75 million release clause and offer him a big salary, but he rejected the offer.

Reports from Gazzetta dello Sport and other European media say Osimhen still wants to move to the English Premier League. This has been his dream for a long time.

The report also mentioned that what Osimhen wants is not matching the offers he is currently getting. He prefers the Premier League, but the right offer hasn’t come yet.

Osimhen recently had a very successful loan spell at Galatasaray, where he scored 37 goals in different competitions. Even with that strong performance, he still doesn’t want to stay there.

His parent club, Napoli, is not planning to bring him back into their squad. They are waiting for offers from clubs outside Italy who are willing to meet the asking price.

Manchester United is one of the clubs keeping an eye on Osimhen’s situation. But there are financial issues, especially his high wage demand of €12 million per year, which could make a deal difficult.

Even though Manchester United won’t be playing in any European competition next season, Osimhen is still interested in joining them, according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia has offered Osimhen a massive €40 million per year. But reports from Il Napolista say he hasn’t accepted the offer yet because he is still focused on moving to England.

His €75 million release clause is valid until July 15. Any club that wants to sign him needs to act before that date.
