Former Nigerian music star Cynthia Morgan has caused a stir on social media after speaking out against Natasha Osawaru, the wife of famous singer Tuface Idibia (also known as 2Baba). She accused Natasha of making Tuface apologise in public.
In a post shared on Instagram, Cynthia said she was worried about the singer and asked Nigerians to remember him in their prayers. She also questioned why he felt the need to apologise publicly all of a sudden.
Tuface’s apology came shortly after he appeared in a recent interview that got many people talking online.
Taking a swipe at Natasha, Cynthia wrote that a man like Tuface cannot suddenly be forced into living a monogamous life. She made it clear that this kind of change doesn’t happen overnight.
She went further to question Tuface’s faith, asking whether he is really a Christian or a church leader.
Cynthia also brought up his age and personal life, saying that at 49 years old and with seven children from three different women, no one should be shocked that he sees himself as a polygamist.
In her final message, Cynthia encouraged people to pray for Tuface. She quoted a Bible verse—Proverbs 29:15—saying that lack of discipline brings shame. She ended her post with a strong message: “Free Tuface.”
