Ademola Lookman has caught the attention of several top European clubs, and former Italian football director Enrico Fedele thinks it’s time for Atalanta to sell him.

Fedele recently spoke about Lookman’s performance, saying the Nigerian star is getting close in quality to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian winger who now plays for Paris Saint-Germain. According to him, Lookman has shown he can perform at a very high level.

This summer, Lookman has been linked with possible moves to both Napoli and Arsenal. Fedele believes Napoli could be the perfect destination for him, especially now that Kvaratskhelia has left the club.

Kvaratskhelia joined PSG in January 2025 for a large transfer fee, leaving a gap in Napoli’s attack. Fedele sees Lookman as a strong option to fill that space.

Speaking on Radio Marte, Fedele said he believes Lookman is ready to take the next step in his career. He also pointed out that while Lookman’s contract with Atalanta isn’t very long, his value is still high. That’s why he feels Atalanta should sell him now.

Fedele added that several factors might help Lookman move to Napoli, and he is already playing close to Kvaratskhelia’s level.

Since joining Atalanta in 2022, Lookman has become one of the team’s top performers. His strong form has attracted big clubs, and a move this summer could be on the cards.
