A young girl named Faith, who was from Benue State, has sadly lost her life after being attacked by suspected robbers in Lagos. The terrible incident happened on Friday along Mobile Road in the Ajah area.
Faith was from Itakpa Ito in Obi Local Government Area of Benue State. On the day of the attack, she had visited her boyfriend and was on her way home when the tragedy occurred.
Eyewitnesses said a group of men stopped her and tried to steal her phone and handbag. She tried to fight back, but during the struggle, one of them stabbed her in the neck with a sharp object, which people believe was a knife.
After the attack, the robbers left her bleeding on the side of the road. Some people passing by later found her lying lifeless and quickly informed security officials. Her body was taken to a nearby mortuary.
As of now, the Lagos State Police Command has not made an official statement, but it is believed that they are already investigating the case and trying to find the people responsible for this horrible act.
