Victor Osimhen, a star Nigerian footballer, may end up joining Turkish club Galatasaray if a big move to a top European team doesn’t go through this summer.
This update came from football expert Evren Turhan. He shared his thoughts while talking about Galatasaray’s summer transfer plans.
According to Turhan, Galatasaray already knows Osimhen would like to join them if a move to a major European side doesn’t work out. He also said Osimhen’s situation should be clear by July 10.
Turhan told Turkish media outlet Habersarikirmizi that “the Osimhen matter will be settled by July 10,” and that Galatasaray is Osimhen’s first option if no European team comes forward.
He went on to explain that Galatasaray’s top officials, including club president Dursun Özbek, are fully aware of Osimhen’s preference and are hopeful about signing him.
In fact, Turhan said President Özbek is putting in a lot of effort to make this dream come true for Galatasaray fans who are eager to see Osimhen wear the club’s jersey.
Osimhen is expected to leave his current club, Napoli, on a permanent deal during this transfer window.
So far, he has been linked with top clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus, and Manchester United. But if none of these work out, Galatasaray might become his new home.
