Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon lost a $10,000 bet to singer Zlatan Ibile after Spain beat England in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday night.

Soberekon and Zlatan had each bet $10,000 on the match, with Soberekon backing England and Zlatan supporting Spain. The bet was shared in a video on Zlatan’s Instagram.

Zlatan won the bet as Spain defeated England 2-1, claiming their fourth UEFA Euro title.

Nico Williams scored for Spain early in the second half. England’s Cole Palmer tied the game in the 73rd minute, but Mikel Oyarzabal’s goal in the 86th minute secured Spain’s victory.

After the game, Soberekon posted a crying emoji on his Instagram story.
