Wydad AC and Al Ain are the newest teams to be knocked out of the 2025 Club World Cup.
Both teams lost their first two matches in Group G to Manchester City and Juventus, who have now advanced to the next round.
Wydad lost 2-0 to Manchester City in their first game. Things got worse when Juventus beat them 4-1 on Sunday.
Al Ain also suffered big defeats. Juventus crushed them 5-0, and Manchester City followed with a 6-0 win on Sunday.
With two losses each, Wydad and Al Ain can no longer qualify. They will now only play their final match for pride on Thursday.
Before Sunday, five other teams had already been eliminated: Ulsan HD, Auckland City, Los Angeles FC, Pachuca, and Urawa Red Diamonds.
