Wike: Nigerians’ll feel impact of good governance under me – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that they will feel the results of his leadership as his administration continues to focus on development.

He said his government will keep investing in key infrastructure that can improve the lives of citizens across the country.

The president made this statement during the official opening of a newly completed road project in Abuja. The road was opened as part of activities marking his second year in office.

This particular road project was supervised by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

President Tinubu, who was represented by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, explained that the new road would help reduce traffic, improve travel time, and connect neighborhoods. He said this reflects the government’s plan to make life better for Nigerians.

He added that the road project was not just about building roads but about opening up communities, creating chances for growth, and supporting development. He thanked Wike and his team for focusing on building things that matter.

Tinubu also said his government would continue to invest in roads, bridges, housing, transport, and health care. According to him, these are not wasteful expenses but smart investments that will benefit the people.

He gave Nigerians his word that he will not stop working until everyone, in every part of the country, feels the effect of good governance.

The president also promised that the current and future infrastructure projects will be completed on time so that they can begin to help people as soon as possible.

Tinubu called on road users to take care of the roads and use them properly.

He reminded them that the roads were built to make their daily lives better, as his government had promised from the beginning.

Speaking directly to residents of Mabushi, Katampe, and nearby areas, Tinubu encouraged them to protect and maintain the new roads. He said these roads are for them, and they are a sign that his administration is working to keep its promises every day.
