Athletic Bilbao’s talented winger, Nico Williams, has agreed to sign a six-year deal with Spanish football giants, Barcelona.

After missing out on a move to Barcelona last summer, Williams is now very eager to make the switch to the La Liga champions this year.

Popular football journalist Fabrizio Romano shared that Williams has already agreed on his salary and contract with Barcelona.

The only thing left before the deal is final is for both clubs—Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao—to agree on the transfer fee.

Romano posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Williams and Barcelona have completed personal terms for a deal that will last until June 2031. The agreement includes a salary of about €7 to €8 million per year, after taxes.

Barcelona is now focusing on finalizing the financial side of the deal with Athletic Bilbao to complete the signing.
