Euro U-21: Six countries qualify for quarter-finals

At least six teams have already made it to the quarter-finals of the ongoing European Under-21 Championship being held in Slovakia.

This comes after Tuesday’s group stage matches were completed in the tournament.

France and Portugal became the latest nations to book their place in the last eight after winning their matches against Poland and Georgia.

France beat Poland 4-1 in their match, while Portugal secured a 4-0 victory over Georgia.

With these results, France and Portugal join four other teams—Spain, Italy, Denmark, and Germany—in the quarter-finals.

The final two spots for the quarter-finals will be filled after Wednesday’s group matches are completed.

According to Daily Post, the quarter-final games are set to take place on June 21 and 22. Only four teams will go through to the semi-finals.
