Nigerian rapper and music executive, Jude Abaga, known as MI, has expressed deep sadness about the recent killings happening in Benue State. He showed strong support for the affected communities and called for the violence to stop.
On Monday, MI shared on X that his heart feels very heavy. He said it hurts him deeply to see so much suffering in the Middle Belt region of Nigeria. He reminded everyone that the recent killings in Benue are not just numbers or statistics. They are real people — families and communities being torn apart.
MI also said he stands with the people of Benue. He wrote, “Your pain is my pain.” He warned that the ongoing cycle of violence must not be accepted as normal anymore. He promised that the people who lost their lives will not be forgotten, and those who are still alive have his full support.
Besides showing his sadness and support, MI called for open and honest investigations into the attacks. He also asked for stronger security in communities that are still at risk, hoping this will stop more violence.
