Ronaldo scored a goal to tie the game 2-2 at the end of regular time. Then, Portugal won against Spain by beating them 5-3 in penalties. This made Portugal the first team to win the Nations League twice. They were also the first team to win this competition when it started.
Piers Morgan is a big fan of Ronaldo. He was angry with Ten Hag and Portugal’s coach, Santos, for how they treated Ronaldo. Morgan wrote on social media, “Erik Ten Hag treated Ronaldo like dirt and pushed him out of Manchester United. But Portugal’s coach, Roberto Martinez, trusted Ronaldo to be his main player at 40 years old.

Morgan was talking about when Ronaldo came back to Manchester United in 2021. He left Juventus and joined United for about €17 million. Ronaldo played very well during his first season with coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær, who was later fired.
