90% of Nigerian pastors won’t get away with what they do in Nigeria abroad – Tacha

Natasha Akide, also known as Tacha, is a Nigerian reality star living in the UK. She has spoken out about how some Nigerian pastors behave badly.

Tacha said that 90% of Nigerian pastors wouldn’t be able to get away with their actions if they were outside Nigeria. She shared this opinion after seeing a video that caused a lot of talk.

The video showed Pastor Paul Adefarasin from the House on the Rock Church holding something that looked like a gun while talking to a car spotter who was filming his car.

Pastor Adefarasin said the thing he was holding was not a gun, and he didn’t point it at anyone. He also said the car spotter was being rude and aggressive.

But Tacha said in a video she posted on her X page that the pastor did hold something like a gun, and the car spotter was not rude at all.

She accused the pastor of trying to confuse people by lying about what really happened.

Tacha explained she did not want to say anything about the church fight until she saw videos from the church service. She said she hates when people try to trick others by lying. Everyone clearly saw the video and can tell who was being rude.

She reminded everyone that the pastor stopped his car, rolled down the window, showed something that looked like a gun, and told the boy not to film.

Tacha said the boy was even greeting the pastor in the video. She pointed out that many car spotters film cars all over the world, and she did not see the boy doing anything wrong.

It upset her to see church members clapping and cheering for the pastor. She asked why they were cheering and if they really saw the video or were ignoring the truth.

Tacha made it very clear that 90% of Nigerian pastors wouldn’t be able to behave like this outside Nigeria. If they tried, their churches would close within a year.

She also said if a politician like Seyi Tinubu or Wike or Wike’s son had done the same thing, people on Twitter would be angry for a long time. But because it was a pastor, some people are making excuses for him.

Tacha reminded everyone that this is the same pastor who, last year, got out of his car and broke the windshield of a bus that hit his car, putting passengers in danger. Now, he is calling the person filming rude.

She asked if anyone holding a phone is now considered rude. She called this double standard very wrong and told people to stop being fake about it.
