Steps are being taken to stabilise governance and revive the economy of Rivers – Fubara

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has promised that his government is working hard to bring stability to leadership and improve the state’s economy, even though there are still political problems and financial difficulties.

During the Eid-al-Adha festival, Fubara, through his Chief Press Secretary Nelson Chukwudi, encouraged Muslims in Rivers State and beyond to remember the important values of sacrifice, obedience, and strong faith.

The governor thanked the people of Rivers for their sacrifices and admitted that many hopes have not yet been fulfilled because of political issues. But he said that progress is still happening.

He assured the people that actions are underway to make governance stable and the economy stronger. Fubara promised to find real solutions to their problems. He also asked for prayers for peace and growth in Rivers State and stressed his commitment to keeping everyone safe and cared for.

Fubara ended by wishing all Muslims a happy and meaningful Eid celebration.

It is important to note that President Bola Tinubu suspended Governor Fubara on March 18 after a long political crisis and attacks on oil facilities led to a state of emergency in Rivers State.
