Former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, has made it clear that no matter what happens, he will never turn against Peter Odili and his wife.

He made this statement while speaking during an interview. When asked how he feels about all he has achieved at age 60, Amaechi took the chance to reflect on the people who shaped his life.

Amaechi, who also served as the Governor of Rivers State, said he is forever grateful to the Odilis for the roles they played in his journey.

During the interview on Arise Television, he talked about how much the couple has influenced his life in meaningful ways.

According to him, after God, Peter Odili and his wife have been the most important people in his life. He said he has already told his wife and children that he will never speak badly about them or go against them.

Amaechi admitted that the Odilis have done things that some people might criticize. But for him, the good they have done in his life is far more important than any mistakes they may have made.

As he looked back on his life at 60, he said he chooses to focus on gratitude and respect, especially for those who helped him grow and succeed.

He said, “Every time I speak, I begin by thanking God. Then I thank Peter Odili and his wife for the roles they played in my life. I’ve said to my wife and children that no matter what happens, I’ll never go against the Odilis. They’ve done things to me, things that could make one scream, but I hold back because I believe God used them in my life. So, to respect God, I must respect them.”
