There has been some drama among Nollywood actresses recently, and Uche Elendu has shared her thoughts about it. The disagreement is between Angela Okorie and Regina Daniels, two well-known actresses.
The problem started when Regina Daniels called out Angela Okorie online. Regina accused Angela of disrespecting Mercy Johnson, who Regina affectionately calls “Mama.” Angela didn’t take this lightly and responded back. Since then, both women have been trading harsh words in public.
Uche Elendu has now joined the conversation and seems to support Regina Daniels. She pointed out that younger people are smarter than some might think.
Uche also referred to another issue where Angela Okorie reportedly threw some shade at Destiny Etiko, another colleague. At a recent wedding, Destiny walked away with the money she received for spraying (a popular celebratory custom), after Angela tried to sing near her.
This led Angela to make a comment that when “light” appears, “darkness” disappears. But Uche Elendu didn’t agree with this idea. She suggested that what Angela called “light” might actually be the “darkness.”
Uche explained that this so-called light is full of envy, bitterness, fighting, addiction, and abuse. She joked that if this is what light really is, then the power company should take it away.
At the end of her message, Uche asked her followers to tag the best psychiatrist in town, implying that someone needs to step in and help.
This public disagreement between these actresses shows how tensions can rise even among colleagues. It also reminds us that sometimes, things are not as simple as they look on social media.
