The White House has released a brand-new official portrait of President Donald Trump.

The photo was made public on Monday evening. It shows President Trump looking serious, with a plain black background. The picture only shows his face and shoulders.

This new image takes the place of an older portrait that Trump shared right before he first became president in 2017.

Many people noticed that the new portrait looks very similar to the mugshot taken of Trump at the Fulton County Jail. That mugshot was from when Trump was running for reelection and was facing legal trouble over claims he tried to change the election results in Georgia. Most of those charges were dropped, and the case slowed down after he won the 2024 election.

Now that he is president again, this official portrait will be placed in government buildings all across the country, just like it’s done for every sitting president.
