Shakira is getting ready for an exciting new performance!

CONMEBOL has announced that the Grammy-winning superstar will perform for the first time at Copa América, the world’s oldest national team soccer tournament.

She will be the first musical act to perform during the halftime show at the final, scheduled for Sunday (July 14) at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. “Shakira is an incredible South American star who has amazed audiences worldwide. Her songs are beloved and danced to in every part of the globe, turning her music into a global sensation enjoyed by millions. We are confident that her performance at the Copa América USA 2024 will enhance the message of healthy passion and unity through sport,” said Alejandro Domínguez, president of CONMEBOL, in a statement.

Shakira will take the stage with a mix of her well-known anthems and her latest hits, according to the announcement.

The final of the CONMEBOL Copa América USA 2024 will be held this Sunday (July 14) at 8:00 p.m. local time, with more than 54,000 fans expected to attend the event at Hard Rock Stadium.
