Bayer Leverkusen have decided to ask for €50 million if any club wants to sign Nigerian striker Victor Boniface this summer.
The club is looking to make some changes and bring in new players. Since former coach Xabi Alonso has moved to Real Madrid, they want to build a fresh team and could use the money from Boniface’s sale to support that.
Back in January, Boniface was close to joining Al Nassr, a Saudi Arabian football club. They were ready to pay €70 million to get him.
However, Al Nassr later changed their plans and went for Jhon Duran from Aston Villa instead of signing Boniface.
Boniface had a tough season in 2024/25 because he was dealing with injuries, which made it hard for him to stay consistent.
Even with those problems, he was still able to score 11 goals in 27 matches in all competitions for Leverkusen.
He became a Leverkusen player in 2023 when he moved from Union Saint-Gilloise, a club in the Belgian Pro League.
