TV personality Ray J says racketeering charge makes more sense for Kardashians than Diddy

TV personality Ray J recently spoke out about the racketeering charge against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. He shared his thoughts during a new TMZ series focused on Diddy’s trial.

On TMZ Presents: United States V. Sean Combs: Inside the Diddy Trial, Ray J said the racketeering charges don’t make sense to him. In fact, he joked that the Kardashians would make more sense for this kind of charge than Diddy.

Ray J, who has known Diddy for years, stood up for him on the show. He said he’s spent time around Diddy and some of the people now testifying in court. From his point of view, nothing about the situation looks like organized crime. “I’ve been with Diddy and those people, and this doesn’t feel like a RICO case,” Ray J explained.

He also believes there’s more going on behind the scenes. Ray J said it seems like someone is using this case to send a strong message to Diddy. “Someone’s definitely sending a message,” he added. “And Diddy is getting it loud and clear.”

The episode also featured a tense exchange between lawyer Joe Tacopina and legal analyst Nancy Grace. They got into a heated argument about whether the racketeering claims really hold up. Their back-and-forth became personal as they disagreed on how solid the case is.

Adding more to the trial, Capricorn Clark—Diddy’s former assistant—gave testimony that might support the RICO case. Legal experts say her story could help tie all the accusations together and make them look like a bigger conspiracy.

This trial is getting a lot of attention. People aren’t just watching for the legal outcome, but also for what it might mean for the entertainment industry as a whole.
