Israel DMW, the logistics manager for popular Nigerian singer Davido, has responded to a leaked audio recording of him apologizing to Sophia Momodu.

According to the DAILY POST, Davido is currently in a custody battle with his baby mama, Sophia Momodu. Amidst this legal fight, Israel DMW took a swipe at Sophia on Sunday for leaking her conversation with Davido’s father. He also labeled her a gold digger for being involved with Davido despite their age difference.

In retaliation, Sophia released an audio recording of Israel apologizing to her. Reacting to this, Israel explained that the conversation happened months ago. He wrote, “Ahhh. Conversation from months ago.”

It was discovered that the leaked audio was recorded when Sophia confronted Israel over his comments during an interview. In that interview, her daughter Imade mentioned visiting many countries. Israel had commented, “My Oga’s money,” implying that Davido was financially supporting Imade’s trips.

This comment upset Sophia, who accused Davido of abandoning their daughter in July 2022.
