Osimhen agrees three-year deal with new club as Chelsea, Man Utd miss out

Victor Osimhen has agreed to join a new club on a three-year contract. This means Premier League teams Chelsea and Manchester United have lost the chance to sign him.

Osimhen, the Nigerian striker, was linked with both Chelsea and Manchester United. But now, he will be moving to Al-Hilal, a club in Saudi Arabia.

Last season, Osimhen played on loan at Galatasaray. He joined them from Napoli after a planned transfer to Chelsea did not happen in time before the transfer window closed.

At 26 years old, Osimhen had a great season in Turkey. He scored 36 goals in 40 games in all competitions for Galatasaray.

Thanks to his performance, Osimhen helped Galatasaray win both the Turkish league and the cup this year.

According to reports from the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadh, Osimhen has signed a contract to join Al-Hilal for three years starting this summer.

Al-Hilal wants Osimhen to play in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, which begins next month.

To secure Osimhen, Al-Hilal is ready to pay the €75 million release clause in his Napoli contract.

This move comes after Osimhen held talks with Al-Hilal to finalize his transfer.
