Lionel Messi, who plays for Inter Miami now, has shared which goal he liked the most in his entire football career.

The 38-year-old said his favourite goal was the header he scored in the 2009 Champions League final while playing for Barcelona against Manchester United.

Messi has scored over 800 goals during his time with Argentina, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and now Inter Miami.

Even though he has scored many beautiful and important goals, Messi explained that the header against Manchester United has always been his favourite.

That goal was Barcelona’s second in their 2-0 win over Manchester United in the final match.

Messi jumped higher than two strong defenders, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, and headed the ball past goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar. Many people remember it as one of the best goals in Champions League history.

This goal helped Messi win his first Champions League trophy with Barcelona. He later won two more titles with the team.
