Kim Kardashian has finally finished her law studies after six long years. She celebrated her graduation with a small party in her backyard in Beverly Hills.
On May 21, Kim shared the happy news on social media. She also posted congratulatory messages she received from friends, including one from Ivanka Trump, the daughter of the U.S. President.
Kim, who started the popular clothing brand Skims, shared videos of her mentors praising her for completing a four-year legal apprenticeship.
At her graduation, Kim said thank you to everyone who supported her. She told her fans, “You all have been with me on this journey.”
Kim first said she wanted to become a lawyer in 2019. Even though she never went to college, she worked hard to learn law through a special program in California. This program lets people study law while working with a licensed attorney as a mentor.
Her mentor, lawyer Jessica Jackson, said that Kim joined the program six years ago with a strong wish to fight for justice.
Jessica said Kim did not take the easy path of regular law school. Instead, she spent many hours reading cases and learning by doing real work.
Kim studied about 18 hours a week for six years. She did this while raising four children, running her businesses, filming TV shows, and helping people in court.
Kim passed California’s first-year law exam, called the “baby bar,” after trying four times in December 2021.
But she still needs to pass the main Bar Exam to become a licensed lawyer in California.
Kim Kardashian’s journey shows her hard work and dedication to her dream of becoming a lawyer and helping others.
