A sad event happened in Ondo State recently. A commercial motorcycle rider named Nazifi Ibrahim was killed by a passenger he was carrying. The Ondo State Police confirmed this news on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Ore community, which is in Odigbo Local Government Area. It happened late at night on Tuesday, around 10:40 p.m. After shooting Ibrahim, the passenger ran away with the motorcycle.

People in the community are worried because Ibrahim was well known and liked among other riders. A source close to the community said Ibrahim took the passenger to a place called Alafia Street in Ore, where the passenger suddenly attacked him.

No one knows why the passenger shot Ibrahim. The police have started an investigation to find out what happened and to catch the person responsible.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Olayinka Ayanlade, said the police quickly went to the scene after getting the report. They found Ibrahim’s body, but the motorcycle was missing.

The police are still searching for the attacker. Meanwhile, Ibrahim has been buried following Islamic customs.
