UEL final: Harry Kane, Mohamed Salah react as Tottenham defeat Man United, win trophy

Harry Kane, who now plays for Bayern Munich, and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah shared their thoughts after Tottenham Hotspur won the Europa League final.

Kane left Spurs a few seasons ago to join Bayern Munich and recently won the Bundesliga title with them. Now, his old club has achieved European success.

Tottenham finally won a major trophy after waiting seventeen years. They beat Manchester United 1-0 in the UEFA Europa League final held at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao.

Brenman Johnson scored in the 42nd minute, and that goal was enough for Spurs to win their first European title since 1984.

Tottenham and Manchester United were both struggling in the Premier League this season, sitting at 17th and 16th place. It had been a tough year for both teams.

Tottenham ended their season on a positive note. They not only won the Europa League for the third time but also secured a place in next year’s Champions League.

Harry Kane congratulated his former team by posting “Congratulations @SpursOfficial” on X.

Mohamed Salah praised Tottenham’s coach Ange Postecoglou. He said, “He did say he’d win in his second season. Congratulations!”
