Ajani explained that the new platform will help deliver faster results and give users a smoother experience. This new platform is not the only digital step the Ministry of Interior has taken. In February, the Interior Minister, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, announced plans to introduce digital landing and exit cards for visitors arriving in Nigeria. These forms must be completed before entry to help make border control smoother.

Tunji-Ojo also highlighted the need to connect Nigeria’s immigration data with both national and international databases. This connection will improve security by making sure all approvals are checked in real time through agencies like Interpol and criminal record systems.
