US President Joe Biden has made it clear that only God could persuade him to step down from the presidential race. Despite calls for his resignation following a poor performance in the June 27 debate against Republican nominee Donald Trump, Biden remains unwavering.

After the debate, many US voters, political commentators, and stakeholders raised concerns about Biden’s health and mental clarity. However, Biden addressed these worries in a Friday interview with ABC News.

Biden expressed confidence in his leadership abilities, saying,

“In other words, I would withdraw from the race if the Almighty Lord appeared and said, ‘Joe, get out of the race.’ The Almighty Lord is not descending. Specifically, these hypotheticals.”

“I don’t think anybody is more qualified to lead. I’m running for office again because I believe I have the best idea of what needs to be done to elevate this country to a whole new level. We’re headed in that direction. We’re headed that route.”

Despite the criticism, Biden is determined to continue his campaign, believing he is the best candidate to lead the country forward.
