On Tuesday night, some young people in Katsina State showed great courage when they stopped armed bandits from kidnapping anyone. The attackers came to two villages—Rafin Iwa in Sabuwa Local Government Area and Unguwar Galadima in Bakori Local Government Area—but the youth quickly fought back and forced them to leave.
A security expert known as Bakatsine shared the news on Wednesday. He said the bandits tried to carry out the attack under the cover of night, hoping to surprise the villagers.
However, the young people of both villages acted fast. They came together and defended their communities with bravery. Their strong resistance made the bandits run away without taking anyone.
Bakatsine wrote, “Bandits attacked Rafin Iwa and Unguwar Galadima last night, but the brave youth of these villages chased them off. Thankfully, no one was abducted.”
As of now, the government or police have not yet released any official statement about the incident.
