The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has discovered 3,000 individuals claiming to be graduates who never attended any tertiary institution. This significant revelation raises concerns about the integrity of educational qualifications in Nigeria.
JAMB’s Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, shared this alarming information during a meeting with the leadership of the Committee of Pro-Chancellors of State Universities. He emphasized the importance of accurate academic records and the need to address this issue to maintain the credibility of the education system.
