A photo has been shared of the man accused of killing a British-Nigerian nursing student in Houston, Texas.

The victim, Tamilore Elizabeth Odunsi, was studying nursing. She was found with several stab wounds on the kitchen floor of her home on April 26, according to Houston Police.

Her flatmate, 40-year-old Chester Lamar Grant, was also found injured and taken to the hospital in critical condition after the tragic incident on Goforth Street.

Authorities have now charged him with her murder.

Police went to the apartment for a welfare check after not hearing from anyone inside. When no one answered the door, they went in.

Inside, they found Tamilore dead in the kitchen and a man with stab wounds in one of the bedrooms.

Tamilore, who was just 23 years old, died at the scene. Sadly, the incident happened only days before she was supposed to graduate from university.

It’s believed that the argument which led to the stabbing may have started over their pet cats.
