Popular Nigerian actress Rita Dominic has replied to a critic who criticized her for taking on a role in a new movie.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote:
“Some projects are beneath you. Why is Rita Dominic in ‘Lekki Wives’ or whatever it’s called? Seriously?”
In response, the actress advised fellow actors to ignore such negative comments and continue improving their craft.
She wrote:
“Dear Actors, only people without any artistic integrity speak this way.
If you listen to them, you might start thinking you’re more important than the industry that made you. You are an ACTOR, so always find a way or platform to express your creativity. Keep honing your skills despite such empty comments because learning never ends – yours truly, Rita.”
