Tsibiri, a town in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, has suffered a terrible attack by armed bandits. The attack left many people dead, others kidnapped, and the town almost completely destroyed.

A well-known security expert, Bakatsine, shared the sad news on Thursday through a post on X (formerly Twitter). He described how the once lively town has now become a graveyard.

“Tsibiri town in Maradun LGA of Zamfara State has been turned into a graveyard. Bandits slaughtered people, kidnapped many, and left the town in ruins. This is not just insecurity, this is abandonment,” he wrote. He also questioned how many more towns must be destroyed before action is taken.

Bakatsine included pictures showing the damage and suffering caused by the attack.

As of now, the Zamfara State Government and security agencies have not released any official statement about the tragedy in Tsibiri
