After President Donald Trump completed his first 100 days in office, U.S. Congressman Seth Moulton shared a video online listing five promises Trump hasn’t kept. He said the president made many promises during his campaign, but most of them haven’t happened.
In his video, Moulton said, “Mr. President, you are a hundred days in. You made a lot of promises, but it’s hard to keep track of how you have broken them.”
Here are the five promises Moulton says Trump has broken:
- Lowering Prices:
Trump said he would bring prices down, but instead, they are going up. Moulton pointed out that even the stock market is falling, which hurts people’s retirement savings. - Ending the Ukraine War:
Trump said he would end the war between Russia and Ukraine on his first day. But after 100 days, the war is still going on. - Dealing with Putin:
During his campaign, Trump said he trusted Russian President Vladimir Putin. Now, he seems to have changed his mind, calling him an enemy of the United States. - Deporting Criminals:
Trump promised to deport dangerous criminals. But Moulton said he hasn’t proven that the people he is deporting are criminals. He mentioned a case where a 4-year-old child with cancer was deported instead. - Restoring Accountability:
Trump said he would bring back accountability in government. But Moulton criticized the situation at the Pentagon under Trump’s Defense Secretary, calling it a “dumpster fire.”
Moulton’s message is clear: after 100 days, many of Trump’s big campaign promises remain unfulfilled.
