Nigerian social media star Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has once again been taken into custody by the Nigeria Police Force.

Reports indicate that this recent arrest was ordered by the Police Commissioner of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Command, Mr. Igwe.

Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju revealed that VeryDarkMan was arrested for allegedly exposing a Nigerian individual who was reported to have duped someone abroad.

Adeyanju elaborated that the controversial influencer was accused of defamation, which led to his arrest.

He stated, “Our client, @thatverydarkman, has been arrested by the police on the instruction of CP Igwe for exposing an individual who allegedly scammed a Nigerian abroad. Instead of apprehending the alleged scammer, the police arrested VeryDarkMan on allegations of defamation.”
