A businesswoman has shared her sad experience after losing almost N15 million while trying to rent a house in Lagos.

She posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying: “I just got scammed of almost 15 million naira. I thought I had secured a house, but it turned out to be a scam.”

Another user on X asked if the house was in Magodo, and the businesswoman confirmed it was.

This incident serves as a reminder to be extra careful when dealing with property transactions, especially in Lagos.
