Transfer: Marseille weigh up move for Jordan Torunarigha

French football club Olympique Marseille are interested in signing Nigerian defender Jordan Torunarigha during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Torunarigha currently plays for KAA Gent in the Belgian Pro League, but his contract will expire at the end of the season. He has decided not to renew his deal, meaning he can leave the club for free this summer.

According to Berliner Kurier, Marseille are very eager to bring the 27-year-old centre-back to Ligue 1.

Last summer, Torunarigha was linked with several clubs including Leeds United, Crystal Palace, and TSG Hoffenheim. These teams may try to sign him again now that he is set to become a free agent.
