George Clooney recently shared that he and his wife Amal Clooney have never had a fight in their 10 years of marriage. The actor, now 63, said their relationship has always had easy and open communication.

During an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings on April 21, George said, “We still haven’t had an argument. We’re actually trying to find something to fight about!”

George spoke lovingly about Amal, a human rights lawyer. He said he feels very lucky to have met her and still feels like the “luckiest man in the world” every day.

Back in 2022, Amal joined George in another interview with Gayle King. She said their peaceful relationship surprises their friends. One of her cousins even asks them, “Have you had an argument yet?” before saying hello.

When asked again this year if they’ve really never argued, George joked, “Would you like us to now?”

Amal believes their strong marriage is mostly due to luck. She said it’s important to stay open and not be too guarded or negative when meeting someone new. That mindset helped their relationship grow quickly.

George and Amal got married in September 2014 in Venice, Italy. They became parents to twins, Ella and Alexander, in 2017. The twins are now almost 8 years old.

“Our kids are funny and curious,” George said. “They make us laugh all the time.”

The Clooneys continue to be an example of a happy and supportive relationship, with love, laughter, and great communication at the heart of it.
