Another heartbreaking accident has happened on Karu Bridge in Abuja, leaving several people feared dead. The tragic event took place on Friday, heading towards Karu Site.
According to a DAILY POST reporter who witnessed the scene, a truck carrying cement lost its brakes while coming down the Kugbo hill. The truck crashed into several cars and their passengers before trying to escape.
However, commercial motorcyclists chased the truck and stopped it at the Karu Roundabout.
Sadly, this is not the first time such a terrible accident has happened on Karu Bridge. Just last month, a similar crash occurred when a Dangote trailer powered by CNG also lost its brakes and hit many cars, killing several people.
This latest tragedy has raised more concerns about safety on that part of the road.
