Human rights activist and #RevolutionNow leader, Omoyele Sowore, has criticised the Nigeria Police for using their helicopter to transport top officials instead of using it to fight insecurity.

Sowore said it is wrong for the police to focus on the comfort of VIPs while many ordinary Nigerians are dying from violent attacks, especially in places like Plateau State.

He accused the police of ignoring their duty to protect the people and instead using public resources for personal luxury. Sowore believes the helicopter should be used to monitor and stop armed herdsmen who continue to attack communities in some parts of the country.
