Nottingham Forest manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, is hopeful that Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi will return to action for their upcoming Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday.
Both players have missed Forest’s last two matches. Aina is recovering from a calf injury, while Awoniyi is dealing with a hamstring issue. Forest lost both games – one to Aston Villa and the other to Everton.
Speaking about their possible return, Nuno said, “Hopefully, we can get T (Awoniyi) and Ola back. We need everyone. The rest of the season will be tough, so having all players ready will help.”
Despite the losses, Forest still sits in third place on the table. However, another defeat, especially to Tottenham, could harm their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
