A top member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abayomi Nurain Mumuni, has said that the disagreement between President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is slowing down Nigeria’s development.
In a statement shared by his media aide, Rasheed Abubakar, Mumuni asked both leaders to put their personal issues aside and work together to solve the problems Nigeria is facing.
He said Nigeria is going through hard times, and leaders must unite to help the country move forward. Mumuni believes that while the issues between Tinubu and Atiku may be understandable, they should not come before the well-being of Nigerians.
He pointed out that many people have lost hope in the government because politicians are not discussing the real issues like the economy, security, education, and healthcare. He urged the leaders to focus on positive talks that can bring real solutions.
According to him, Nigerians need leaders who can look past personal fights and think about the future of the country. Mumuni called for a meeting between Tinubu and Atiku where they can openly talk and find common ground.
He ended by saying that the world is watching Nigeria, and history will remember those who chose unity and progress over division.
