DJ Cuppy, the well-known Nigerian DJ and daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, has opened up about how her life changed after giving her life to Jesus.
She said her original plans to grow her DJ career have been deeply affected—but in a positive way—since becoming a Christian.
In August 2024, DJ Cuppy publicly dedicated her life to God at Holy Trinity Brompton Church in London. Now, she’s reflecting on how her faith has led her in a new direction.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), she said:
“I was thinking this evening. Jesus really disrupted my DJ career plans o. But in the BEST way. ‘Booked and busy’ means nothing if you’re not walking in purpose.”
At 31, Cuppy has spent many years building her brand in both Nigerian and international music scenes. But now, she feels that having a strong relationship with Jesus is more important than just being busy with work.
Her story shows how finding faith can bring new meaning and purpose to life—even when it means changing direction.
