Real Madrid could face some trouble ahead of their Champions League quarter-final match against Arsenal. At least five of their key players are just one yellow card away from missing the second leg.
Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric, Antonio Rudiger, Eduardo Camavinga, Endrick, and Lucas Vazquez are all at risk. If any of them get another booking in the first leg, they will be suspended for the second leg.
Eder Militao is also close to a ban with two yellow cards already, but he’s currently out injured and won’t be playing.
So far, Real Madrid players have received more yellow cards than any other team in the tournament — 33 in just 12 games.
Arsenal also have three players on the edge: Declan Rice, Gabriel Martinelli, and Jurrien Timber.
According to UEFA rules, players get suspended for one match after three yellow cards. However, all yellow cards will be cleared after the quarter-finals.
This means both teams need to be extra careful in the first leg to avoid losing key players for the second game.
